The Small Press Expo, North America’s Premiere Independent Cartooning and Comic Arts Festival is just around the corner!

Come September 14th-15th, droves of CCS students, alumni and faculty will be headed down to both attend the show and sell their work. Among those selling there work, many will be debuting new work!

Here are a few more of the CCS books that will be debuting at the show.

The first collected edition of the complete run of Stumptown Comic Arts Award nominated webcomic, Brief Histories of Everyday Objects. Toothbrushes! Kitty litter!! Ball point pens!!! Et cetera!!!

Triple TrioJosh Lees (Class of 2014)

Tracey Triple and her partners Flo and Rei are entry-level time travelers. In the first episode, we follow them to a Dance Marathon and watch them struggle with paradoxical nature of messing with the time stream. In the second episode, the Trio is arrested for Witchcraft during the Salem Witch Trials.

Presented as a Saturday Morning Cartoon (complete with catchy theme song and commercial break), this comic is for fans of chubby girls, skateboarding, and light SF.

Dog City 2 – Edited by Simon Reinhardt, Luke Healy and Juan Fernandez (Class of 2014)

Dog City is a small press comics magazine dedicated to publishing quality minicomics. Each issue of Dog City consists of a curated selection of minicomics packaged in an artfully designed cardboard box.
