One more piece of excellent news, the Center for Cartoon Studies AND James Kochalka received the Vermont House Resolution formally declaring Kochalka the first Cartoonist Laureate of Vermont. The document even goes on to describe the American Elf comic where Kochalka received the call but went back to “making grapefruit-peel candy with his sons.” One of the many to reasons to love Vermont. You guys see how gold and official that seal is, right?
