Fable Comics by Chris Duffy

Fable Comics is an anthology of twenty-eight stories that are twists on traditional fables, such as those from Aesop. Chris Duffy is in charge of editing this book, which is intended for 7 to 10 year olds. Chris has been an editor for many projects that include work from The Center for Cartoon Studies alumni and students.

The anthology includes many artists with relations to CCS. Two alums are included: Keny Widjaja for “The Demon, the Thief, and the Hermit” and Sophie Goldstein for “Leopard Drums up Dinner.” Sophie just won two Ignatz Awards for her recent book The Oven through AdHouse Books. The anthology also includes work from R. Sikoryak, a past instructor; Graham Annable, a past advisor;  Gregory Benton, a visiting artist in the coming year; and Eleanor Davis, an award-winning illustrator who drew the 2012 diploma for CCS!
